Forestry

(Bosbouw) In the HBO Forestry program, you learn everything about sustainable forest management, nature conservation, and timber production. You study ecosystems, biodiversity, and climate change. Practical subjects include tree species identification, forest planning, harvesting methods, and nature management. You learn to work with modern technologies such as GIS and drones. Internships at State Forest Service, nature organizations, or forestry companies provide practical experience. The program combines ecology, technology, and management for responsible management of Dutch and international forests.
