(Duurzaam Beheer) In the HBO program Sustainable Management, you learn to professionally manage ecosystems and natural areas with a focus on biodiversity and sustainability. You develop knowledge about ecology, nature conservation, landscape management, and environmental policy. Practical skills such as monitoring, terrain management, and project management are central. You work on concrete cases such as nature restoration, water management, and climate adaptation. The program combines fieldwork with policy and legislation, where you learn to balance nature goals with societal interests.
