What will you learn?

(Interactieve Media) In Interactive Media, you learn to design and develop digital experiences that captivate and engage users. You combine creativity with technology by working with web design, app development, virtual reality, gaming, and social media. The program focuses on user experience (UX), interface design, programming, storytelling, and project management. You learn to conceive concepts, create prototypes, and realize interactive products for different target groups and platforms.

A week as a student

Listen: a week in Interactive Media0:00 / 0:00

On Monday you start with a lecture on User Experience Design. The lecturer explains how to make an app easy and enjoyable to use. After that you sit down in a small group. Together you discuss the project for the week: building a prototype, which is a first version of an app. You write down who the users are and what they need.

On Tuesday you have Frontend Development. You learn to write code so that a website actually works in the browser. This can be tricky, because small mistakes cause big problems. On Wednesday there is a Graphic Design practical. You work with design software and create buttons, icons and a colour scheme for your app. Your group gives each other honest feedback on each other's work.
