What will you learn?

(Oceanografie) In the HBO Oceanography program, you study oceans and seas from various scientific perspectives. You learn about ocean currents, marine ecosystems, climate change and its impact on oceans. The program combines biology, chemistry, physics and geology. You conduct practical research at sea, analyze water samples and use modern measuring equipment. You also study the interaction between oceans and atmosphere, sea level rise and pollution. Internship opportunities are available at research institutes, water boards and environmental organizations.
