Your week starts on Monday with a large epidemiology lecture. Epidemiology means: the study of how diseases spread through a population. The lecture hall can hold up to two hundred students. The lecturer explains how researchers track how many people get sick. You listen, take notes, and ask questions afterwards through an online platform.

On Tuesday you have a biostatistics seminar. Biostatistics is the maths you use to understand health data. You work in small groups on practice problems with numbers and tables. Wednesday is often a tough day: you have a research methods lecture and you also work independently on a literature assignment. For that assignment, you search for scientific articles and summarise them. You don't have many contact hours, so you plan a lot of self-study yourself.
