An MBO-4 education in Software Development can also form a good foundation, possibly combined with continuing education at HBO level. Many employers highly value practical experience and a strong portfolio, which means self-taught individuals with demonstrable programming skills also have opportunities in this sector.
As a Back-End Developer, you can grow from junior developer or trainee positions to senior back-end roles, lead developer or software architect functions.
