On Monday you start with a Stagecraft lesson. The teacher explains how to safely build a stage. After that you get to work straight away in the school studio. Together with your class you set up the layout for a practice performance. You learn how to safely position speaker and light stands (the poles that hold equipment).
On Tuesday you have Lighting and Sound Technology. You practise with a mixing desk, which is a device you use to control and mix sound. Your classmates play music and you make sure it sounds right. On Wednesday there is a lesson on Electrical Installations. You learn how cables and plugs work at large events. The teacher pays close attention to safety, because mistakes with electricity are dangerous.
