What will you learn?

(Aardwetenschappen) Earth Sciences combines geology, geophysics and geochemistry to understand processes within and on the Earth. You study rocks, minerals, earthquakes, climate change and natural resources. Through fieldwork, laboratory research and computer simulations you investigate how the Earth formed and evolves. You learn about plate tectonics, volcanism, groundwater management and environmental problems. The program prepares you to solve societal challenges such as sustainable energy production and natural disaster management.
